Media and Leadership - Learning The Persuasive Language of Media
I like this commercial because it makes me laugh. It appeal to my REPTILLIAN brain, (while Justin just flies out of his seat, skates on the door of the car),my LIMBIC brain( with songs playin on:"Hey Girl",and "Lovestoned" peformed by Justin Timberlake), and my NEOCORTEX brain ( thinking about if this kind of commercials are just interesting to watch or they really somehow persuade us to buy those products?!)
In this commercial they used some persuasive techniques:
TESTIMONIAL: Justin Timberlake is a celebrity, so with casting him in the commercial they persuade the users to buy their products, as if in every sip of Pepsi Justin gets closer, however it is a metaphor, you can actually get a free download of one of Justink's mp3 but not just bring Justin closer.
HUMOR: The commercial makes onlooker laugh because of the events that happenes to Justin.
PLAIN FOLKS: The other people casting in the commercial are everyday life people(even those three girls at the end),and commercial persuades they drink Pepsi and win so you also have a chance to win.
SYMBOL:The Pepsi is a famous company, and it has been used as a symbol in the commercial.
MAYBE:The commercial uses the statement: "Millions of free mp3s, HD TV's and more, sign up now!", making you feel that you can be lucky, drink Pepsi and win.

Who knows that will look into an untraceable website where he conducts violent and painful murders life on the net, the more people who look and enter the website the often and more violently the victim dies. When I watch this movie I’m thinking about this game. I’m feeling fear but then I understand that it is not in a real life.

My media inventory

The word book comes from Old English "bōc" which comes from Germanic root "*bōk-", cognate to beech.[1] Similarly, in Slavic languages (e.g. Russian and Bulgarian "буква" (bukva)—"letter") is cognate to "beech". It is thus conjectured that the earliest Indo-European writings may have been carved on beech wood.[ Types of books

Novels in a Polish bookstore
A common separation by content are fiction and non-fictional books. By no means are books limited to this classification, but it is a separation that can be found in most collections, libraries, and bookstores.
Fiction
Many of the books published today are fictitious stories. They are in-part or completely untrue or fantasy. Historically, paper production was expensive; too expensive to be used for entertainment. An increase in global literacy and print technology led to the increased publication of books for the purpose of entertainment, and allegorical social commentary. Most fiction is additionally categorized by genre.
The novel is the most common form of fictional book. Novels are stories that typically feature a plot, setting, themes and characters. Stories and narrative are not restricted to any topic; a novel can be whimsical, serious or controversial. The novel has had a tremendous impact on entertainment and publishing markets.[5]
Comic books or graphic novels are books in which the story is told, but not illustrated, with pictures.

The Beatles are one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed bands in the history of popular music, selling over one billion records internationally.[1] In the United Kingdom, The Beatles released more than 40 different singles, albums, and EPs that reached number one, earning more number one albums (15) than any other group in UK chart history. This commercial success was repeated in many other countries; their record company, EMI, estimated that by 1985 they had sold over one billion records worldwide.[2] According to the Recording Industry Association of America, The Beatles have sold more albums in the United States than any other band.[3] In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine ranked The Beatles number one on its list of 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.[4] According to that same magazine, The Beatles' innovative music and cultural impact helped define the 1960s, and their influence on pop culture is still evident today. In 2008, Billboard magazine released a list of top-selling Hot 100 art)
